Portfolio Gallery disable

If I want to use a different gallery plugin how can I disable the built in portfolio gallery. I have lightbox pro and I know it works before but I think it's not working in this theme because of the portfolio gallery. All help is appreciated. Thanks

Appearance -> Editor ->portfolio.php
and delete some code from line no 67 and 79 shown in below image.
