Hello, I hope everyone is doing well. I have several issues with the ClassiCraft Theme that I would like to be fixed. These issues need to be fixed before we can go live so prompt response is much appreciated. Thank you in advance for looking into this. --------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------- Posting an Ad without paying (Free Ad is deactivated) 1.1) User submits an Ad but cancels payment at PayPal. The user is returned to the home page. The Ad is submitted for approval and it is displayed on the dashboard with “Approval Pending” status. However, if the user edits and updates the Ad, it is automatically approved and the Ad becomes public searchable. This shows anyone can post an Ad without paying. When editing/updating unapproved Ads, they should remain “Approval Pending” state. 1.2)Only an administrator should be able to approve posts 1.3)An administrator should be still be able to post a free Ad 1.4)Up on cancelation user should be redirected to Dashboard 2. Redirection after Payment with PayPal – After successfully paying with PayPal account, user remains on PayPal "Thanks for your order" instead of being redirected to the Classified Ad site. Once payment is successfully processed, whether the user paid with PayPal account or Credit/Debit card, the user should be redirected to the Classified Ad site dashboard/status page. 3. Region Selection on when posting a new Ad (add-new page), Region dropdown shows only “Select Region”. However, when updating an existing Ad, Region offers more options. 3.1) The Region dropdown when posting a new Ad should offer more options. 3.2) The target audiences for my Classified Ad site at the moment will primarily be in U.S and Canada (North America). Can the Region field offer only North America and this be the default selection? 4. Payment selection Defaults to Free Ad. This should default to One Time Payment. -------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------
Hello, Greetings from InkThemes! Regarding your first issue, You can easily resolve this issue by doing some changes in your dashboard as I have mentioned in my screenshot given below, By selecting "pending" for the listings, only admin will have the authority to publish the listing... As per your second issue, you just need to select your desired page (where you want to redirect after the payment process) under Payment Setting option of your dashboard Please follow the screenshot given below. For your third issue, please follow the screenshot given below. Now for the last issue.. Please follow the screenshot given below. Hope it will resolve your issue Do let me know if you need more assistance, Thanks & Regards! Priyanka InkThemes.com
Hi Priyanka, Thanks for your response. Unfortunately, everything is set up just like you described in your screenshots. Free Ad is set to Pending and Deactivated so only One Time and Recurring are available for selection when posting an Ad. The problem is if a user selects One Time or Recurring and proceeds to payment but cancels the transaction on PayPal site, the user is returned to Dashboard (I was able to fix this by selecting Dashboard as cancellation return address.) The Ad is saved and it shows as "Approval Pending" on the Dashboard. If the user edits the Ad and clicks on "Update" button, the Ad is now set to Approved and it is published immediately. This shows that anyone can post free Ad but still enjoy the same features as Premium Ad. This definitely need to be fixed. Only Administrator should approve/reject Ads. If an Ad in "Approval Pending" state and the user makes any update, it should remain in "Approval Pending" state. I have set the Return URL to "All Ads" page but for some reason after payment is completed on PayPal, it is not returning to this page at all. Instead the user remains on PayPal site with only "Go to PayPal account overview" and "Add funds from your bank" links. "Advanced Location Field" is enabled (checked) that is why Region fields appears when filling out an Ad details. However, this field only offers "Select Region" option WHEN FILLING NEW AD; however, other selection options are available when updating an existing Ad. This field should show North America in the dropdown and North America should be selected by default. As I mentioned previously, Free Ad is deactivated. Unfortunately, it looks like this only hides the Free Ad option from the UI when filling out the Ad but in the background, it is the default selection. This is clearly a bug that need to be addressed. If Free Ad is Deactivated, then either One Time or Recurring should be the default and in my case I want the One Time to be the default. I hope this clarifies the issues. Please let me know if you have any questions. Thanks!
Hi Priyanka, For #1 it looks like this is an existing problem. I found this post in this forum from Feb 2015 which had the same problem: http://www.inkthemes.com/community/...ackage-can-send-ad-for-free.16027/#post-60927. It looks like the problem has been around for a while and it hasn't been addressed yet.

Hi Naveen, Thanks for your response. I'm actually using the latest Theme version 2.0.1 and all the problems I have stated in my original post, including issue #1, still exist. The site is set per Priyanka's suggestions but the problems were never fixed. Please see response #3 to Priyanka. These issues are forcing us to push our go-live which we can't afford to do. They have to be fixed before we can go live. I can provide site url and login credentials via email if someone can take a look at the issues on our site. Just let me know what information you need from me and what email address to send them to. Any prompt attention is much appreciated. Thanks!
