The preview during the front end listing process shows all fields, rather than accurately showing what the current payment plans listing will look like...ie, if free plan then many of the fields should be hidden but are not.

Is this being fixed? Or is there at least a way to add text to that preview page that lets the user know that not all fields will be displayed in actual listing?

Listing submits form is same for your both free and pro client. It will allow the free client to add complete detail.
The difference occurs after listing published.
If you want to restrict free client to fill pro fields, Then you can add a note (For example-"Field for pro listing") in the field description.

Hi Nitesh, thanks for the reply. This is not what I meant though. What I mean is that after someone fills out all fields, and selects FREE then hits the preview button...they are getting an inaccurate preview of their listing because the preview is showing all fields, when the free listing will actually have limited fields being shown. Is there a way to show an accurate preview, or at least add text to the preview page that says (not all fields will be displayed for FREE listings)

    Hello Ipotent,

That preview page is just to make client conform about entries filled in the listing form. Client can go back and edit it, In case of wrong entry.
So hiding fields in that page is not a good idea.
