problem with homepage posts

    Hello,
    I'm having a problem with the number and order of posts on my homepage: http://new.spinecenteratlanta.com

    i've updated the settings to show 3 posts but this does not change the displayed number.

    2. how do i had a text boxes section to the homepage where i can write a paragraph about what we do?

    I tried your "number of posts" settings and it does not change the number of posts of my homepage. I even tried setting it to zero but all the posts still appear.
    any suggestions?
