Is it me or my website (its a sub domain) - upgraded to v1.6 as recommended and now have lost all widgets and footer displays which were OK on 1.5.

Can't upload images as a logged in user to a free listing either but can upload them as an admin !

I'm on Wordpress 3.5 see my test site: http://geocraft.myenglishbullterrier.com/

Edit: They all appear OK on the contact page but nowhere else !!!!

Just update the theme to the latest version 1.6.1 and let us know if you still have the same problem of uploading the image.

Just upgraded to 1.6.1 and the same problems are there for me:

No footer or widgets on the home page only on 'normal pages' see my test site:

    http://geocraft.myenglishbullterrier.com/

And it still fails to save an uploaded image when logged in as a normal user on a free listing. It shows it uploading as a percentage and displays the picture in the page when its finished uploading but after clicking the update listing button it simply does not save the data. Works OK if I do the upload as the admin.

This theme is virtually unusable untill these and all the other complaints from other site developers are fixed, feedback like this is good - if you act on it to stop losing your own loyal subscribers!

One other user had the same problem of footer widget not appearing on the home page, the issue was that when he inserted the html tag for his footer widgets, he opened few html tags and forgot to close them and his footer on the home page disappeared, make sure you are not making the same mistake. If you are opening any html tag on the widget do close them at the end. If your issue still exists. Start a new conversation privately from my profile page and message me your wordpress dashboard login details along with the link of this thread and I will have a look at your issue.

I am following the process to upload the new listing as a normal user. See the video below. Let me know if you are not able to upload a new listing as shown in the video.

Are you following the same process and getting the problem.

I'll try the video in a moment Neeraj.

I've deactivated all plug-ins for debugging but the problem of no footer or widgets is completely cleared if I remove the 'Geocraft Listing Categories' widget from every listing or page where the problem occurs. All widgets stopped after the heading of this one appeared.

This is a major issue because its one of the most usefull widgets for a user to be able to select a category.

    Edit:
If I use the 'display as dropdown' it immediately causes the issue complained of and sometimes replacing the widget is the only way to clear it.

As I intend to have a lot of categories the dropdown will be important.

Looked the video and the difference is that I am editing a listing that has already been created and that is where the problem of adding an image occurs.

Creating a new listing works OK as in the video, adding an image to the description field is a real pain in the ***** though and should be improved for the end user. The fields are also offset from the buttons making it difficult to see which field is being uploaded.

Bump - is there going to be any progress on this, it may be silly but its downright annoying and look offputting when using ten's of listing categories.

I have sent the PM, please send the details and I would look into the issue for you. We tried editing the listing and uploading the image at our demo site and it works fine here.

What about the 'Geocraft Listing Categories' widget problem described above?

It's already resolved in v1.6.2, do update the theme.
