purchased butterbelly upgrade, but content not 'transferring'

i had been using another theme, but was forced to switch when my hosting company upgraded their php and the theme didnt work correctly. i chose butterbelly and re-populated the content into this theme, added a logo, edited the home page, etc.... i then purchased the butterbelly pro to give me more editing options and expected that the current content would be active after the upgrade, but its showing default theme content.... help!

To recover your content. Again activate butterbelly lite theme that you are using previously.
After that follow link given below to upgrade theme from lite to pro.

wow.... not exactly what i was expecting. im assuming i need to follow that with each category in the options panel.

not too much of a timesaver. hopefully this process gets streamlined.
