I purchased the colorwaytheme and I’ve been trying to implement it but I’m having problems trying to customize the home page. What we’re trying to do is have WordPress be behind the scenes for the blog portion of the site but when a user goes to the main page they should be shown something like this: http://www.teamqualitypro.com/NavTest.html I did create a home page so it would be tied to the “main template”, which was based on the default template but with pieces removed The odd part is that even though I removed items in the main template the default items still show up. (http://www.teamqualitypro.com/)

I was able to get the slideshow to work but setting the navigation we want doesn’t seem to work. Can someone please help?

After two full days and nights on this I figured it out. For those that run into this issue, even though wordpress tells you that you can create a new template for the pages, this theme doesn't let you, you need to change is the "front-page.php" (make a backup just in case), I also found that you can't create a separate header for specific pages like you would in other themes but the look of this theme is awesome so just need to figure out what this them lets you do and what it doesn't

Now to figure out how to change the navigation for the homepage.
