I am having trouble with a redirect. It's redirecting the page but the Geocraft page is not correct. (Saying not found).
    The page is
    http://www.penntownship.biz/search.html
I put in the permalink address for the new search page, put that address in the redirect. It redirects it but comes up with a default page that says Not Found?
I think I did everything correct?
What am I doing wrong here?

I'll give you the example I'm working on for my site penntownship.biz
If you google the words: Penn Township Business
my old site comes up there first in the rankings...so I told my server to redirect the search.html page to the new Search generic page on my geocraft site using the permalink address (redirected it to: http://www.penntownship.biz/wp/search/ ‎).
Tested it by typing in the address: www.penntownship.biz/search.html
it correctly redirects you to my new geocraft site but instead of going to the newly created page titled Search, it takes you to a page that says
You searched for: Search Nothing Found Sorry, but nothing matched your search criteria. Please try again with some different keywords.

    What am I doing wrong?

We have seen your website and it seems that %20 is adding by default in your site link.
    Check permalink address : http://www.penntownship.biz/wp/search/
I think it contain space at the end. Remove it, It will resolve your issue.

I have checked it ten times....there's no space on my end but I see that is what it is adding automatically...Google must be putting that in somehow on a redirected page?? I can't change it so where can I change the words on that page to say:
    First Try - Nothing Found
Try Your Search Again in the Sidebar Dropdown Menu
