Reduce primary widget area

Hello,

Is there a way to reduce the space that the primary, secondary etc. widget areas can be reduced? They are taking a lot of space I think. Your input is highy appreciated.

If you look at individual pages, not HOME, the widgets on the right take up a lot of space. Can this be changed?

Hello,

It require some customization.
To make changes in all default pages follow process given below.
Go to Appearance > Editor > page.php
and change grid 16 to 18 and grid 8 to 6.



If you want to make changes in blog single and contact page, Then edit same code in
blog.php, single.php and template-contact.php
