Remove Feature Image on Blog Front Page

Hello,

On my journal post a featured image / thumbnail showed up. I'd like to disable the option entirely. I've made sure there's no feature image set, tried deleting code in editor and even other CSS styling, but I can't seem to figure out how to remove it.

Appearance > Theme Option > Styling Option > Custom CSS
