Remove meta data from single post and excerpt

I'm using the latest version of Colorway. I need to remove the "Posted on, by author and to which post" on the single post and the excerpt. Screenshots attached showing what I want to remove.

I found a previous reply to the same question, but it doesn't work, even after clearing cache. Please advise where to make these adjustments to remove this.

Note:- For your information, I am using "WP-Editor" plugin to edit files.
You can also download and use it from the link https://wordpress.org/plugins/wp-editor/.

After activating this plugin, you will get the same screen as shown in the video.
