Remove search and expand navigation links

I have seen in another post where you suggested to use

.top-search {display: none;} 

to remove the search in the BB theme. However, that just hides it but the navigation does not take that place. How would we expand the navigation to full width when the search is hidden?

 

Go to header.php present in your theme directory and follow the instruction as shown in image given below
