Remove text near Home Page Services Feature Description

Hello,

I would like to remove

1) this text:

'8 beautiful colors are given in the theme option...'


2) the other default text : show your latest post here...BY default no posts will appear....'

My Client do not want manage any blog.

Are they some custom css code to do that?
