Remove the 'Category Archives: [category]...' Heading from Archive Pages

Hi there,

I would like to remove the label 'Category Archives:' from the header of my archive pages, so that just the [category] is displayed on top of the page.

Is this possible at all?

Also is there a way of removing the listing of categories [cat a, cat b etc.] under the title of each post and the 'posted by' [username] info so that just the [date of posting] and [x number of comments] is displayed?

Open category.php and remove text as shown in image.



For admin and cat
Open blog.php and remove text as shown in image.
