remove widget form Blog page layout

I have a "Recent Posts" widget on the right column - I would like to remove it from pages using the "Blog" template - how can I do this?

 

I should mention that I have imported Posts from another Wordpress instal & I amusing the Display Posts shortcode on a page that is set to us a "Blog" template - the page is at
http://galaxyhealing.com.au/maggis-blog/

I would like this page and also all the individual Post pages to display without the right hand widget
