Removing "Comments & Responses/ Comments closed" text

Hi, I have read the forums and tried to solve this, but none of the methods in similar threads works to simply delete from the bottom of my pages the text:

Comments & Responses

Comments are closed.

I have turned off comments.

 

Go to page.php present in your theme directory and remove the code given below

Code:

 <h3>Comments &amp; Responses</h3>
              <?php comments_template(); ?>
