When you change the main theme folder name, then zip it and then install it, you achieve in page source to show the new name, but once a time i changed the main folder name before installing a directory theme so it was a very complex theme and it causes small issues in functionality. I understand changing the theme name style.css is only for informative purposes so it is no related to functionality. So, is it enough changing the folder name before installing and editing style.css to change the theme name without causing any functionality issues?
