Responsive issue with added header image ... how to fix

    Hello again ...

    I'm working on a site for a client and have added a header image above the nav bar ... thanks to a previous forum thread. You can see the results here:


    When in full desktop screen mode, it looks fine/wonderful ... although sometimes a sliver of white appears between the image and the nav bar.

    However, when the browser size changes/reduces -- as it does when it goes mobile:
    • there is enlarging white space between the bottom of the image and the top of the nav bar (on a tablet in portrait mode); and
    • there is NO header image (on a smartphone).
    I have to think there is CSS code that can resolve both of these issues and would appreciate your help in supplying that code. Due to a responsiveness issue?
