Hi, last my last thread closed so opening a new. Is there a hidden file within the theme that acts like robots.txt ? If I have deleted completely my previous robots.txt file from cPanel and my Dashboard etc including related sitemap plugin. Why does my website URL/robots.txt still show a robots file, when it should be blank?? I have also deleted the sitemap from Google webmaster a/c or must i delete again my website from google and add to be verified again as if new, because they are looking for a robots file... hmm please help Frank
Hello Frank, Greetings from InkThemes! For your information, the robots.txt file is located in root directory of your server... So just for the confirmation would you please check your root directory first that whether you have deleted that file from there or not... Or, there may be some cache issue over there, so you are also kindly suggested to clear your cache and check after that... Hope it will resolve your issue or if still will be in the same trouble do let me know.. Looking forward to your reply. Thanks & Regards! Priyanka InkThemes.com
