Hi - Can you please help me please, The theme resizes the images of the products I add. The Main images for the products are square and this is fine for resizing the originals to fit. However when I am in the gallery of products, http://www.gaygifts.ie/wordpress/?product_cat=art , the images are resized again to 200px150px. The top and bottom of the images are then getting cropped and look terrible. I want to make the image gallery of the products have square images too so nothing is cropped. Can you please advise how I can do this. ASAP.
A good size for Product Gallery images can be up to 60opx wide and 300px high. I typically make mine 300px high x 400 wide unless it's an image that needs more width. I also typically stay with 300px high so the image doesn't push the Product Description too far down. If you have a few variables associated with the product the drop down boxes on the right will also push the Product Description down. That would be the only reason I might go higher than 300px. Product Image (homepage images) I would typically stay with making them 200px wide and 150px high. Keep in mind that this should be the size of the canvas. Your actual product picture can be smaller. Just paste it into a white image that's 200px x 150px (or 600x300). MS Paint is real easy to use for this. Open two. One for your canvas and one for your image, then resize your image, and copy and paste it into the canvas.
