Hi can anyone tell me how and where to add an local address schema code for local search?

You can try Schema Creator plugin for this issue.
Download it from the link given below and install it from the Plugins panel (Plugins ->Add New ->Upload) in your Dashboard.

Thanks for the tip had already installed the plugin, have not tried it yet not sure how to get it to work!

Instructions not very clear maybe will try Youtube.
