Hello Mike, Footer search bar searches listings and blogs, that are not created in your website so it is not search anything. Thanks & Regards Yogesh Bhade
Hi Yogesh, The site has more than 200 pages which are being searched by the search bar in the side widget, but not in the footer search field. To verify, I created one post and one classified ad. Then I tried the search functionality in footer. It is not searching anything. Thanks, Mike
Hi Yogesh, You're right. I had to wait for a while after adding the post or ad to display that in the search result. However, if there is nothing to search or if the word you are searching by doesn't exist, shouldn't the user get something descriptive? Currently, the page returned is blank. What is the file where I can put a custom message to indicate to the user that site is actually working vs. blank page with could indicate an issue with the site? If you can even put a sample message, that would be great. Thanks, Mike
