Hello Clicking the send button on the contact button after completing all the other fields does nothing. The page confirming that the email has been sent appears but so far as the administrator I have not received any emails. My email account is set up under Users- Your profile and Settings-General Settings in Wordpress Admin. :-(
Please check your contact form with another mail id and also check spam messages of your account too maybe you are receiving mails there. It will resolve your issue.
Hi Nitesh Thanks for your reply. I tried your suggestions but still nothing. I went to Comments inWordPress admin and checked spam. The emails were not there. I went again to Users- Your profile and Settings-General Settings in WordPress Admin and put in an alternative email address for myself. That made no difference either. I created the Contact page by creating a new page and selecting the contact theme. Is there anywhere in the php code for the template for the Contact Page where I need to specify the email address to which all emails should be sent? Does the contact form not get the email address from Users- Your profile or Settings-General Settings or is there some other place where I am supposed to specify the email address for the contact page to send emails to?
