Shrink / remove / change contact info in upper right

Hi,

I'd like to remove or shrink the contact info from the upper right hand of the page so there is more room for my tagline. My logo with tagline is 650ish pixels wide and 120 height. When I upload it now, the whole image is pushed down due to the contact info section.

Is there a way to shrink the contact info area and replace the text with a small opt in banner?

For this go to the
Appearance > Editor / header.php

And make changes as shown in image given below.
