Not sure what happened. I worked on the theme for hours yesterday and had it done; I even moved some stuff around on front-page.php where I wanted it, and it was all good yesterday. Today, my sidebar is gone. I reloaded the default front-page.php file to see if any of the changes I made on it were the cause, but that didn't change a thing. Help. Also I would like the sidebars on the pages to match the front page from what I utilized with widgets. nealsp.org I have tested on Chrome and IE - no sidebar
Okay, I figured out the problem. It is the Jetpack plugin, created by Automattic, that is not allowing the sidebar to work. But it worked yesterday. Is there a fix because for me, the Jetpack plugin is ESSENTIAL.
Okay, I've narrowed it down a bit more. When I delete the code for the "carousel" in front-page.php, and activate the Jetpack plugin, the sidebar reappears. So there is something in the coding for the carousel that is conflicting with Jetpack. Again, this plugin is essential to my site...I have some technologically challenged folks and Jetpack makes it easier for them to navigate the site. Thanks again.
Hello Christy, We are checking "Jetpack" plugin with our theme. If it really create such issue then we will definitely resolve it and inform you as soon as possible.
Thank you! In the meantime, I am going to remove the coding for the carousel from that site (in case you need to view it), so that the site is accessible.
