There are two sidebars in this theme that stack. I would like to use one sidebar on pages and the other on posts. I can go in and edit the code to make this happen but I am concerned I will alter the overall theme.

Has this been addressed or asked for in the past? Have your offered an edit to do this?

I downloaded the Dynamic Widgets plugin and set the Search, Categories, and Archives to 'No' since I do not want any of the widgets on my pages. But they are still there. I'm not even sure I will have an active blog yet, and certainly don't want the three widgets on each page. If this cannot be fixed then I just wasted $45 and an lot of time. Thank you.

Widgets you are talking about are default widgets of the theme. Add other widgets to remove default widgets or add blank text widget, To make that area blank.
