My site was taken off-line by the host company. Now I have to re-launch it at another host. But I am running into all sorts of trouble. As I was using Bizway, with a child created, I am turning to you. I have received the files from the previous host, who downloaded them, when I upload these to the new host it does not work. Only when I select the Bizway lite theme does it show up. In the Pro and Child versions it is blank? In the lite version it is all reverted back to the standard, as I had made a lot of changes and I don't want to do it all over again, is there a way to move the whole layout to a new host? I am awaiting your response very eagerly as my site is now off-line for more than a week. Kind regards, Hugo
Hello, If you are switching your host then you need to follow steps given below to back your site. From old server 1) Backup your theme directory and child theme directory(If available) 2) Copy theme optional panel (It will save your frontpage content) 3) Export WordPress. (It will backup your post, comments, pages) To new server 1) Upload parent and child theme. 2) Paste theme option content. 3) Import WordPress. Please follow process above. It will work. Thanks, but the site was taken off-line before I was aware. So I only have a sort of backup and somehow I can't make it work to show the site in it's original glamour.
