SiteMap

I have tried for hours to add a SiteMap into my Website page 'SiteMap'.
Downloading and uploading gernerated sitemaps to public_html or robots.txt or using Google & Bing' without a plug-in.

Why wont it work and my website host refer me back here because it is wordpress. I tried WP a year or two ago and using Dashboard it was easy to install and see it displayed on a page.

What has changed please???

 

I am sorry but I was wrong last time, I did use a sitemap plugin! I have now downloaded & activated and I am now trying to verify sitemap with google. I also want to display the sitemap on my website page. But I cannot work it out, please help explain?

well i have my sitemap on page now, .. but google says its not right format because it is html..
Is this a problem i know they like xml
