Slice theme not working on Wordpress 5.0?

    Godaddy upgraded to wordpress 5.0 last year and ever since my page load times have gotten slower and slower. I'm getting no ranking at all now. Godaddy says the Slice theme is the problem. Does it not work with Wordpress 5.0?
