Slider at Woodpecker Theme - Pictures look very dark

The pictures in the slider look very dark, nearly black. I want the pictures in the same colour as I loaded them in the slider. Kindly let me know where I can change this.

 

The Template Header Background image also appears dark. Kindly advise how this could be changed. Is this the same code as at the slider. Kindly inform.
