Slider image not working and unwanted character showed in home page

Hello Support team,

I have just set up a new website and install blackbird theme pro. However, there is unwanted character showed in my home page and I tried to insert image for slider , it does not work. This is a brand new set up , so, I am not certain where is the mistake arise.

This is also related to my other thread as below which I tried to upgrade my blackbird to blackbird pro.

According to the thread of email that I exchange with '[email protected]', the issues still not yet resolved. Is there something disconnect here ? Please advise.​
