Slider Image Size

I don't have any pictures 1171px width x 526px for the slider. How do I get pictures to fit?

Changing the size of the slider could create conflict in the responsiveness of the theme.

I can't find or create images larger than 900X600.

Every image I place in the slider is stretched out and its height is shortened.
