    Is it still possible to links to pages on the slider content if I have chosen to remove the text box, control panel part? If so, how would I do this? Thanks.

    This feature is available in newly released version of Blackbird theme, Download theme again from members area and upload it.

    This will solve your issue.

    Hi Gourav,

    I reinstalled again but it was just the same version again I believe. The one that has:
    First Slider Link URL

    I have used the custom CSS:

    .flex-caption {
    display: none;
    }
    .flex-control-nav li a.active {
    display: none;
    }

    .flex-control-nav li a {
    display:none;
    }

    to remove the control panel completely. I have entered a URL in the first slider link box but I think it still is for the control panel link, not for just linking the slider image itself when that control panel no longer exists. Is there a way to do it manually? Just to recap: it is the image itself that I want to be the link, not the description. :)

    The link that you enter in the
    Slider settings > First slider link Url
    will work for the slider image no matters you have removed slider caption (heading and description).

    If you want to add link manually then
    Go to the Appearance > Editor and follow instructions as shown in image.

    Thanks, adding the link manually worked. I had two slide images up with links no problem. However, when I went to upload a third image I hit problems.

    I decided I wanted it in the second image slot and uploaded it there and then made what was my second image as my third image. But, when I went to view, the Wordpress quick edit bar was distorted, the second image in the slider loads first and is shorter in length than the first and, if I tried to put on a third, it would just sit dormant underneath the slider and not move at all. Basically screwed up. Sorry to add more to this! :(
