Slider + Sort Problems

Hi,

I have to issues with the "geocraft theme", also here is my website : http://about-saintmartin.com/

1 - In entertainment/Adult Entertainment i have a "Premium" Listing witch i selected to be in the "Feature on Category Page Slider" but does not show up ?

2 - I bought the "Taxonomy" plugins you spoke about to sort the order of the Categories, but as you can see in Entertainment again, the list sort by date of entry ?

If you could have any solutions for those 2 problems, you will make my day.

Hello Kriss,

I think this issue is occurring because of listing category slug.
So go to the
Business listings > Listing categories
Leave slug blank and then update category.
Check image attached for reference.

 

Hi Nitesh, i did what you said, but WP automatically fill the slug, i can't leave it blank.
Any other idea ???

Hello Kriss,

We have also checked your "Taxonomy" plugins we have set it to ascending order.
And your categories are displaying as desired.
Plugin contain it's own settings you can change them according to your requirement.

Thanks a lot for everything. What you said work. My only problem is ; maybe i did not explain properly, the taxonomy of the categories are perfect, but the listing stay in the order i enter them, is there any way to have them ordered fro A to Z or not ?
I had an idea but did not have the time to try as yet : if i export the csv file, order it properly in excel and imoort it back, will the listing ordered good ot not ?

P.S Small add-on, i just tried the csv export/import, it just add the same entries over (so bad idea)

Appearance > Editor > front-page.php
and search "paged". You will get 2 search results. Add code given below at both as shown in the image attached.

Solution provided above work for front page but you are not using themes default front page.
You can use intuitive-custom-post-order plugin.

I'm feeling so sorry about that issue, cause i download the plugin, installed it and still NO CHANGES.
I know you try hard, but i really need that to be done and i don't find any solution myself neither. Any other idea?

Hello Kriss,

After installing plugin go to the "Business listings". Drag and drop listings from there according to your need.
It consume time and required every time after new listing publish. But it is the only solution.
