Sliders not working, static images only

Its been a heck of a day testing, geesh, now featured listing sliders are not working, only static images are displaying both on the homepage and category listing page. Have no idea what caused that, have tried starting over short of reinstalling theme, but still no slider.

Thanks Gourav! I checked the child theme folder and files as you suggested and was not able to isolate the problem. So I removed ALL entries in the child theme css and removed ALL other files in the child theme folder so it is empty (except for the css file). I also removed all custom code from the dashboard Theme Options, Styling Options.

Unfortunately nothing changed regarding the Sliders -- the Homepage Slider and the Category Slider still do not display. Also deactivated plugins.

 

I have now reinstalled a fresh copy of ALL original parent theme files and reactivated the parent theme as active, eliminating the child theme altogether. The category slider now appears to be working properly, however the home page slider images display but is there is no movement, it is not 'sliding'.

Update: I have deleted the theme completedly, redownloaded a fresh geocrafttheme.zip and installed and activated that. No child theme exists and no plugins activated other than Askimet. There are 4 premium listings with Featured Homepage and Category sliders selected.

On the Category page, the slider appears with 4 images which repeat and 'slide' or rotate -- this appears to be working as expected.

However, on the HomePage, 4 images appear but they do not slide/rotate - they are static only.

Is this how it is suppose to function? Seems like the homepage and category sliders should display & function the same.

 

Ok, upon further testing, this is our scenario:

We have Theme Optns Slider Setting =8.​

We have 4 listings total set for Paid + Featured Home and Category.​

Each listing has at least 1 image uploaded.​

When the FF or Chrome browser window is opened fully, 4 images show across the page in the slider section.
On the category page, the slider carousel rotates these 4 images.
On the home page, the slider carousel DOES NOT rotate - the images remain static.

However, if while on the homepage we shrink the browser window slightly so that only 3 images are displayed, the slider carousel WILL begin to rotate.

So, we are noticing a difference in the behavior of the slider carousel between the home page vs the category page sections.

 

Hello,

Front page slider will slide at minimum 5 featured listings. For less then 5 it will not slide.
