I have made changes to the CUSTOM.JS file to speed up the slideshow but none of my change seem to affect the slideshow. Am I changing the correct file? The speed is set to 7000ms. I would like it faster. Any ideas?

    Hello,

Go to Js > Custom.js present in your theme directory and adjust the value of "slideshowSpeed" by increasing the value the slider speed decreases, and by decreasing the value the slider speed increases .

That is what I have been changing and it does not seem to make any difference. Could there possibly be a conflict with something else?

    Hello,

This issue maybe because of plugin (if installed). So please deactivate all plugins to see if this resolves the problem? If this works, re-activate the plugins one by one until you find the problematic plugin(s).

I just wanted to update this issue as I have found the problem. I used a third party menu called UBER Menu. I had to change the code from your menu code to the code needed for the new menu in the header file. The CUSTOM.JS code was calling for your menu and evidently interfering with my new menu. Once I deleted the smooth menu code in the CUSTOM.JS file, the slideshow started working perfectly. Thank for your help!
