Static Homepage and separate Posts page

    How do I maintain the front page (Home) as a static page and designate a separate page (News and Views) as my page for blogposts?
    WP wants you to work through Settings/Reading, but I cannot designate the page for posts without selecting a static page. The front page does not show up in the Settings/Reading menu, so I tried setting up a duplicate Home page. This works except that it produces a duplicate home page on the menu bar.

    You can disregard. I figured it out. All I had to do was choose the Blog template for the blog page and it seems to work fine. Sorry for the bother.
