Tables and background colour

Hi,
I wanted to add a table to insert an image and the table background is grey. I've added the following table border="0" bgcolor="#FFFFFF" but the background doesn't change. Thanks

 

I use a free plugin called "TablePress" and it does an excellent job. You can alternate the background color of even and odd rows and have a third color for rollover. Here's an example of how it looks:

You can preset the number of rows and column and add later, paste images in cells, etc. Look at the FAQ for instructions on how to set the colors. You'll need to know the Hex #.
