Template Header Background Image - remove darkening effect?

Hello!

From another thread, I found the CSS code to remove the 'darkening effect' and show the full color of the slider photos:

.nivo-caption {
display: none !important;
}

Can I also show the full color for the General Settings > Template Header Background Image? What CSS code will do that? Thank you!

I would like to make the Template Header Background Image brighter (like I made my Slider photos brighter).

On the home page, the photo is it's true colors (not darkened). I used CSS code you guys provided to do this.

On the other pages, the Template Header Background Image is changed and darkened even though it is the same photo.

How can I make the Template Header Background Image brighter for all of the pages on http://www.wpsweet3.com/lindt/testimonials/?
