Theme displays strange characters instead invisible line breaks

I do not know what is going on with the theme as someone else posted the similar problem at http://www.inkthemes.com/community/threads/unusual-text-object-appearing.15785/

I have a lot of those strange characters now like at: example:
http://www.eiscafekeltern.de/fasching-ist-vorbei-jetzt-gehts-richtig-los/
and in various parts of the website where <br> are present.

Please advise how to get rid of those. The suggestion of support in the above mentioned support thread does not make any sense to me and can't be the solution to this. I am not sure what happened as those characters were not visible in the past.

I thought it might be a problem with a conflicting plugin, but deactivating plugins also did not help to solve this issue.

Please advise!

I had the exact same issue and figured it out. Go into style.css, find and replace "Voces, " with nothing and the weird symbol will go away. It's an issue with the font Voces for some reason. Removing that font in the font-family section of the css anywhere it's mentioned should solve your issue.
