Hello, We want to run an event system with our directory and we have paid for this however we are running into a glitch. When we go to view an event it returns us to the home page and our tech team sent us this: Could you assist in fixing this?
No problem. The link to the directory is here: http://www.victoriadirectory.ca. In the navigation you will see the Events link. Click on this and then you will see we have a test event on the 27th. If you click on this you will see it loads the link/page but it displays the home page.
Hello, The listings is a custom post type feature, however in GeoCraft the primary users need was to allow listing submissions from the frontend rather than backend, so that the listings submitter don't have to move to some different interface for submitting their listings. The architecture of the theme is complex and altering the redirection structure to make plugin work will make the entire system unstable to use . While with GeoCraft almost every commonly used wordpress plugins will work with the theme automatically, integrating two complex systems together is not possible without altering the codes in either the theme or the plugin you specified.
Hello, I am still working with the team that developed the events script and they tried to make the system work together but aren't able so they are asking: If the theme creator doesn't tell us what we should do to be compatible, we can't do anything. We are using a standard wordpress function ( register_post_type() ) for our events but the theme is overriding that somehow. If you want i can try to contact the theme creator directly, just give me the mail. Are you able to provide any details on the above?
