Can your support team manage to create a sticky forum listing to announce your updates for us all and keep it up to date. Its getting difficult when your support staff announce that another release will be available in a few hours because: 1. The time difference may mean something other than 'a few hours'. 2. Many updates are not shown through the Wordpress update facility which is by far the best way to control version releases. 3. Many of the update versions released seem to keep the same version number and with multiple sites being developed this causes problems to keep all up to date or even know which ones may be out of date. Often the changelog.txt does not accurately reflect the version either. 4. The current 1.6.5 sticky is now well out of date and useless so why is it still there? Does anyone else have this problem? Hi Roger, I agree with you. The updates have to be very well clear to everyone because sometimes we find out an issue that is already resolved but we are not aware of it. Btw I have version 1.6.6 installed. Marcelo
With you on this too, I'm tired of having to re-do all the things we have done to the theme -css alterations-to make it presentable after each update as well.
You can always check the latest changelog of the theme using the link below. http://www.inkthemes.com/wp-content/updates/changelog.txt
The change log is not always updated according to your own support staff so what about a sticky when an update is made so that we all know. This is not difficult and you must have a project manager in place to drive this sort of thing and would demonstrate a high level of professionalism! An update is surely due now but I can't track it as it always shows as 1.6.6 !
