For your information, that is not actually a "Tap to Call" button, you are supposed to place your contact information there,

When a user moves a cursor on it, the contents get displayed there.

but it actually can click/tab on , and when i tab the phone icon using my finger..... it bring me to a empty page.... which say the page is not exist

a) when mouse over, yes, the phone no appear, and when click it, it was refresh the page / website for nothing......
b) is it need special edit..... and will happen again on next theme update?
c) it is not auto update right.... because what had edit is english version..... still had malay and chinese version.... you will update on MAIN update, or need make special edit one by one....
d) if this thing too much work.... i will consider to off this function.... because it cause many queries from user....
