It would be very valuable to show a business how many click throughs their listing gets through the directory clickable links: - to their website - via 'click to call' - via 'click to email' One way to do this may be to insert the Google URL Builder tool into the process of adding the business URL to the profile. It would be best of course to cloak or hide the URL BUILDER LINK and just show it as the original URL on the directory listing. I'd love to track click through calls and emails too but I don't know how - any suggestions?
It is not possible to track the click to call and click to email, But you can keep record of listing view, To do so download WP-PostViews plugin from WordPress.org http://wordpress.org/extend/plugins/wp-postviews/
Thanks Gourav. I know it is possible to do this as I have found out in other forums ways to track calls and emails as well as website click throughs. I'm going to try some out and see what I find out...
