Unsolved Issue

Despite selecting publish ad on homepage and category carrousel (scrprt1), a free ad will not show (scrprt2) and awaits moderation. I do not want that to happen. I want ads to automatically show, and omit any requirement for moderation.

Can you advise me how to set my settings so that the issue is solved?

I have checked it in your dashboard and would like to inform you that you are using a very large image for your listing and that's why getting that issue...

So would like to suggest you to use 285px*230px image size instead of that...

Customers usually don't have a clue about picture size.
Is 285 x 230 the maximum size for this theme?
Besides, that size is very small, doesn't compare to mobile resolution settings curstomers are accustomed to use.

- Is there a way to maximise the formats such that pictures added with a larger size will not go through?
- Can the size beautomatically reduced regardless of the original size?

I would'nt entirely agree re the pic size. I've just uploaded one 4928px x 3264px x 6.25 Mb without any problem whatsoever and it looks normal on the page.
This was just a tester for my own information as there's no way I would normally do this as I always use one of the advanced jpeg compressors to reduce the size to the absolute minimum to reduce the server load and speed of operation.

I agree Chester. Just before X-mas, everything was working fine with any size pictures added. Perhaps you want to create a test-ad on my site? If you do, pls use the picture I add in the attachment. The site is: www.opencaravanroute.nl.

Problems:
- pictures do not show on carrousels
- advertisements need to be moderated before showing (I do not want this)
- google maps is not working

You were just missing to set your listing default status to Pending mode, that's why you were getting all the ads published by default and without reviewing them.

For your issue #2, we have checked your site and didn't find such flaw in your site. Ad thumbnail in carousel is working fine....

Regarding the google map, just check your site, we have enabled it on even if the advance region is disabled.

We have sent you a mail regarding this with a video...

Thank you, many issues have been solved, apart from 2:

Point is: We do NOT want to moderate and want advertisements, free or paid for, to be published by default.
You seem to understand the opposite.

2.) I can't get my testpicture (600 x 400 px) on the carrousel. Is that because of the size limit?
I presented Naveen by email with the same question. (scrprt 1 and 2)

For issue#1, you can just do the reverse process, make the Default Listing Status settings to "Publish" from Dashboard->Settings->Theme Options->Ad Settings

Regarding issue#2, You are requested to use a different image rather than using that.

I can see you have done the same and your site is running fine.
