Update to WP 4.0 affected the slider

I only have one image on the homepage slider. I recently updated to WP 4.0 and I noticed this change. When I type in the url on address bar, it pulls up the site but the slider image doesn't load readily. Sometimes you can see a silhouette of the image. But it won't load all the way. When you open another window while waiting then go back to the site. you'll see the homepage. Going back to Home from another page, it's the same issue. You can sit there and wait nothing happens but when you toggle to a dif window then go back, it's normal.

 

Just to give you an idea - if you sit and watch it nothing happens forever. but when you toggle to a dif window it goes back to normal. please note the time stamp on the image. That's just a 2 minute demo.

 

Any feedback on my problem? Thanks in advance.

I'm glad to hear you are researching on a fix. I came here today to report this very same problem - however I could only reproduce the error on Chrome. The slider works fine on Firefox & IE on my particular site.

Do you have an ETA for the fix? Hours, days..? Just wondering because I have some client sites waiting to launch.
