Updates? Not getting them?

My site says "all themes up to date" and I have always updated any plugins, theme updates immediately.... all things have run well for years now so I haven't visited the forum. Now I'm seeing updates that I never knew about. It looks like I'm running 1.7.9 yet... questions: why am I not getting update notices (it's saying all themes up to date)? and most important do I just go to the member section & download the newest version or will I need to download each newer version one at a time ? I know to make a backup but I'm very afraid to do that for fear of major problems with all that I customized on my old site...will all my old settings stay the same?

Their is not a constraint that you need to download each newer version one at a time, to download a latest version you simply need to go to member section and need to download the latest theme version.

But before installing the latest version I will suggest you to make a backup as you said in your post. To make a backup file

1. First create a backup of your theme by installing and activating WP EDITOR plugin.
as go to Dashboard->Appearance->Theme Editor

and click download theme button to download your current theme which will be your backup.


2. Now go to Dashboard->Tools where you will find Export website contents. By doing this it will backup your website content.


Just do like this and in this way your site's backup would be ready.

Now you can install latest version of this theme as I have told you.

Hi!

I have installed your latest version... looks better but I have a peoblem: the bussiness details (address, contact, social links, etc.) are not showing.
Here's an example: http://www.portuguese-market.com/listing/tracos-de-nos-caffe/
What could be wrong here?

Kindly fill the business details section that you will find under:

(Business Listing-> Buisness Details of your dashboard. I have attached a screen shot for your reference.

Hello!

This only happened after instaaling the latest version.
I had bought GeoCraft a year ago and was advised by InkThemes to update.
So I already had ads working properly.
If you see in the link above, there's nothing to the right of the top image slider.
Something's not right with this version.

Could you please check this out? It's kind of urgent... I have my site availble for new listings but the info doesn't show!

More so that the main page shows all the data (ex: address)...
