When a user updates a free listing that has any html code in the description field when I attempt to approve it and publish for the lising user I notice that the html code has dissappeared.

    Code such as for instance:
    Code:
    <iframe width="560" height="315" src="http://www.youtube.com/embed/6F5R-psPoCw" frameborder="0" allowfullscreen></iframe>
    Completely dissappears.

This might be an image or an iframe of youtube embedded code - it shouldn't dissappear, after all you show a picture in the description field in your demo site which was one of the reasons I purchased this theme!

During publishing the listing for the first time, you can insert the HTML codes for Video/Image by clicking the HTML button on the editor. After filling out all the details, you can publish the listing. The Video will appear in the listings description area.

Incase, you need edit and update the listing, the HTML is not lost, you will see all your inserted HTML code by clicking the HTML button on the editor.

    See attached Image: http://screencast.com/t/auoYUnz6H3q
See attached Video where I create and edit the Free Listing with HTML code (give approx 1-2 minutes for the video to buffer): http://screencast.com/t/aN7Q5ueg3SZ

    Sorry Neeraj,
I have used Wordpress for a fair time now on many sites including using your Andrina theme without any of these problems - I also have a fair knowledge of html.

I have deactivated all plug-ins just in case but no difference!

I watched your video where you did an edit as an admin. I'll send you login details to my site as a pm where if you login as a user (not admin) and edit the listing the embedded html code disappears completely. edit as an admin from the Wordpress IDE and of course it works correctly.

Worse, when I open the listing as a user the phone no field contains my name not the phone number, changing the map address does not update and I'm sure that if you employed be as a beta tester I could give you a list of other problems - as could many other users.

Just the above problems alone mean I can't launch any sites yet!

    PM now sent

This issue is occurring because WordPress has the Author user role defined as someone who can only write and edit their own posts AND cannot post javascript or complicated html.

Install "user role editor" plugin. It will resolve this issue.
Download from the link given below.

Thanks for that Nitesh. However, I'm confused because when a new user is created they automatically have the attribute of 'contributor' allocated not that of 'author'.

However, I've installed the plugin anyway but I cannot see (in plain english) exactly which options I should turn on as none mention html or javascript - what option should I be looking to turn on to get over this issue?

Thanks for that Nitesh, I eventually worked it out by trial and error, the plug-in is a real neat solution!
