    Hi there,

I set up a child theme folder so that I can modify the theme, but this approach doesn't seem to work (the site is blank when I activate the child theme).

    - Is Geocraft compatible for developing as a child theme or do I have to make changes to the original?

    - Is there a way to add more than 3 price packages? i.e. by duplicating one of the entries in the wp_price database table?

    - How would I disable the reviews section for a specific price package? i.e. for the Free listings.

Thanks in advance for any tips you might have!

    Hello,

-Child theme work perfectly with Geocraft theme. Download child theme attached with the post and upload it. It will work fine.
-It is not possible to add more then 3 price packages.
-Disabling review from free listing require some editing in "listing_single.php"
So please provide the following information listed below.

    Hi Nitesh,

Many thanks for getting back to me. Sorry, I can't see the link to the attached child theme - could you please post a link?
I'll discuss the 3 price package limitation with my client and get back to you with details for disabling the reviews.

    Thanks again for your help.

    Hi again,

I would like to change the free listing to a standard listing (i.e. paid for), which seems straightforward enough to change in the payment settings page. I would also like the standard listing page for a business to display the following:
    - company name
    - address
    - business category
    - Phone, fax, email,
    - website url & link
    - contact name / Company owner
    - Year left college (custom field - it's a college alumni business directory)
    - No review section or description / 'Read more' link

I guess this would also require changes to listing_single.php - is this possible?

Thanks again for any suggestions you might have.

    Hello,

Disable those fields which you don't want to show for free listings, through custom field "enable for free listing".
But to disable review section we need to do some editing in "listing_single.php".

And yes, I have missed child theme. Please download it now.

    Thanks for that Nitesh.

On the limitation of having only 3 price packages, we've decided to to leave the reviews section in for all. This now means that we also need to include the full description for the free listing. I have a few more queries which I'll post in another thread.
