Hi, I've just purchased and installed the Subscribely v2 theme, which seems to be behaving as expected, except that when I look at the documentation, there's a 'Videos' menu underneath the 'Dashboard' menu on the top left. I can't see this in my installation. What do I need to do to activate this/add videos? Also, is it best to upload videos via YouTube embed, and if so, how are these kept private so only subscribers can see them?

    Thanks in advance,
    Lee

    Hello,

That Video menu was in old version of this theme, in latest version this menu is not used.
Actually, we didn't update documentation, so sorry for this inconvenient.

    Thanks & Regards

Hi, thanks for that. So then how do I embed a YouTube video as 'member-only' content and ensure it can't just be watched on YouTube, or do I need to upload video files to the website and if so, is there a video player?

    Thanks in advance,
    Lee

    Hello,

You can upload your video from Theme Option of your theme as shown below in screenshot.

Hi, thanks so much for your reply, but I was referring to creating a page, that includes a video that only paid subscribers can see. I think the screenshot is for the slider.

What I want is to sell paid subscriptions, which allow subscribers to then login and view restricted content, only available to paid members. How do I add a video so only paid subscribers can see it?

    Thanks in advance,
    Lee

Hi, thanks again for your feedback.

How do I make sure the YouTube video I add can only be seen by members, and not on youtube.com?

Also, we have a PayPal error:

Invalid Regular period. You must specify valid values for the A3, P3 and T3 parameters for a subscription.

    Thanks in advance,
    Lee

    Hello,

    1. If you added some video from youtube in your site thats not mean you can stop user to see that video from youtube.
    2. You have selected recurring subscription method for payment so please fill all data in recurring options.

    It will resolve your issue.

    Thanks & Regards

    Sorry for the confusion.

That link shows me how to 'protect' the video, but not how to 'upload' the video. In that link, the video is already in the page, but it doesn't show me how the video was added to that page.

    Thanks in advance,
    Lee
